Grow, grow, grow your fruit….

June 15, 2014

Want to grow fruit trees (and nuts) and get a productive crop?

Now’s your FREE chance. Just be at the Morrie Harrell Reserve at Ramage Street, Unley, on Saturday, June 21, at 2.30 p.m. and you can gain all the necessary knowhow from experienced orchardist and local garden developer Steven Hoepfner.

The particular focus of the day will be on pruning, but Steven can also help with advice on plant choice and planting techniques, as well as shaping and pruning.

For more details, and your booking (so the organisers can plan for afternoon tea) email Peter on

Sounds like it will be a fun day.
I might bring the family for a special event.
I have my cousin’s ashes and i thought it would be appropriate to scatter them in a local park. It would be nice knowing that they are nurturing the fruit trees in this reserve.
I will contact Peter about the logistics for the day.

    a nice touch.
we should also be able to scatter the ashes of our beloved pets in the public parks.
no monuments to be erected, our thoughts would be enough.
