Polywaffle and legalese rules, OK.

July 3, 2014

Don’t you just love (loathe) officialese? “Now”  is always “At this point in time”. etc etc. Mostly by politicians.

But the legal profession is not immune to verbal mangling .

For example, KelledyJones, an esteemed and much   admired organisation which specialises in local government matters, is not, at this point in  time, above some obfuscation.

In the  Business Journal section of  “The Advertiser” dealing with legal  pitfalls facing candidates in the November council elections,  they warn that “Interested people are not fully cognisant of the processes and parameters which apply”.

Come on fellers! How about “Would-be candidates don’t know all the rules”?
