Millswood Station’s prolonged promise.

July 6, 2014

Dear Mr Mullighan.

As you are the Minister for Transport, and presumably the North Terrace  tenant responsible for all modes of transport, can I gently remind you that precisely  THREE MONTHS have passed since  Grumpy began pushing for you and your parliamentary colleagues to tell us when/if  the long-abandoned Millswood Station would be open for business.

OK, so the election is over… Steph Key is safely back in what was the pivotal  seat of Ashford… and the hopeful train travellers are STILL still waiting for a definite date.

Promises are easy to make and, apparently, even easier to break.

Yours sincerely,

Grumpy.

Mike, I understand that your blog about Millswood Station has caused major ripples within the State Government. I am reliably informed that it will happen within 3 months.Minor construction works are required to raise the platform height and to provide disability access.
