Heywood Park trees: Stop-press.

November 24, 2014

Councillors at tonight’s meeting of Unley City Council voted overwhelmingly in favour of a motion that work on the removal of 40 dangerous or potentially dangerous trees from Heywood Park  (see my post of November  20th) should be undertaken en masse.

Unley Park Ward Councillors had called on the work to be undertaken in stages, with the worst affected trees removed first and other trees posing less danger only  dealt with after replacements alongside them had had time to grow, thus causing less visual disturbance to the park.
