Car rego regrets?

December 1, 2014

number plateI do hope that one of my fellow Unley Councillors doesn’t stumble across the news item in today’s “Advertiser” about the even more  humungus prices that early South Australian car numberplates are set to bring at auction.

Seems that when the ancient family transport was sold many years ago there was little or no  thought of retaining the plate. Which is somewhat of a pity.Today 44 would be somewhere up there in the stratosphere.

Not much compensation, I suppose. But at least he keeps the memory alive by driving round in his Toorak Tractor sporting 4T4.

Nice one, Rob.

Why people like special numbers for cars?
Is it to impress themselves or others?
    Waste of money.
