Unley’s roadworks programme.

July 14, 2015

Wondering when the tarmac gangs are to move into your particular road for “pavement management” (i.e.reseal)?

Those thoroughfares destined for 2016-17 are Kenilworth Road and Fuller Street, Parkside; Palmerston Lane from Young Street to the north, and Mary Street, Unley ; Second Avenue, Forestville from Everard to Norman Terrace and Leader Street, Forestville from the railway to Anzac Highway.

For 2017-18 it is proposed to tackle  Weller Street, Millswood from Simpson Parade to Mitchell Street; Grace Street, Goodwood; Blyth Street, Parkside, between the dead-end and Fullarton Road, Scott Street between Kenilworth and Castle,  and Alfred Street; Nibley Avenue, Black Forest; and Joslin Street, Wayville, Greenhill to Young.

Moving along to 2018-19: Hardy Street , Goodwood from Lily to Mitchell;  Olive Street, Parkside; Miller Street, Unley; First  Avenue, Forestville, from Leader to Norman Terrace; Jaffrey Street and Olive Street,  Parkside;  Merlon Avenue, Black Forest; and Northbrook Avenue, Millswood.

The final list for each year will be subject to available funding and detailed scoping to determine final costing and other organisational priorities.

In other words, the programme ain’t inscribed in concrete.
