Cheese, chocolate and claret…

April 12, 2016

… or any type of red wine.

London professor Tim Spector has my vote for the man of the year award with his proclamation that the above mentioned trio (not necessarily claret, any red will do) is the way to lose weight.

It should have made the Tiser’s front page, rather than four paragraphs on page two, so I’ll mention it just in case it escaped your attention.

The gentleman from prestigious King’s College says that we should chuck out the calories  chart, and claims that everything we know about dieting is wrong. Successful dieting, he says, is all down to the bugs living in your gut.

Sounds like the ideal type of diet.
It has been well known that dark (and slightly bitter) chocolate, red wine and cheese go well together, although I tend to eat the chocolate later after the cheese. Good to hear that they are all beneficial to the health.
What shall we call this diet? The Hudson Diet?
