Mr Mullighan. Where are you?

April 29, 2016

Terribly sorry to hear that the alleged State Minister for Transport Mr Stephen Mullighan is ” indisposed”  and unable to apologise personally to the hordes of commuters who, for the second day in a row, have been mightily inconvenienced by the power failure which has crippled the Seaford and Tonsley train services.

Luckily Opposition Transport spokesperson and Unley Liberal MP Mr David Pisoni was on hand to use Twitter and keep commuters informed of what was going on (or rather NOT going on).

Meanwhile department spokeswoman Caroline Kelly, we are told by The Advertiser’s David Nankervis, was left to field media questions in the elusive Mr  Mullighan’s no-show. Obviously his indisposition snuck up on him swiftly…unlike his trains…as he was up there in the limelight on Tuesday, happily sharing the glory and photo opportunity of the sod-turning ceremony to mark the start of the $600million-plus Darlington upgrade.

You and Mayor Lachlan Clyne are Liberal supporters and always bagging Labor and always propping up David Pisoni.
Labor built a fantastic rail system down south.
There’s just a bit of an electrical problem.
Meanwhile, there are diesel trains and extra buses running.

Then why didn’t he take a bus ride down south to see just what was going on? Or would that have been below his dignity? Meanwhile, given his large majority of support in Unley, why would Mr Pisoni need “propping up”?
