Monsieur Clyne’s Gallic vision

May 2, 2016

Pernod and petanque  in the South Parklands on the corner of Unley Road. Or just round the corner from Walford School at the local bowling club.

Apropos Unley Mayor Lachlan Clyne’s vision splendide of a greater Gallic flavor to Unley… We already have it, plus being the  long-time home to the Alliance Francaise..

Want to indulge in real French home-cooking, while throwing your boules around? Contact  Club De Petanque D’Adelaide president Rada on 0416 861  787 or Tina on 0434 604 607, and say that Grumpy sent you.

Is this Mayor Clyne’s vision or has it been endorsed by Council?
Has there been any consultation with the public? The public may prefer instead to go with an Italian theme, or Spanish or Greek.
Has the Mayor thought this through? The commute time to Osborne is huge.
The French would be better based at Port Adelaide.
And house prices there are much more affordable than in Unley.
Pie in the sky Mayor Clyne!!!
