Election lawbreakers’ impunity

May 11, 2016

Seems that parliamentary hopefuls such as the Liberals’ Mr  Colovic, who wants to represent the good burghers of Unley, consider themselves above the law when it comes to spruiking their candidacy. Hardly an action to inspire confidence…

A full week before the official “off” in the race to Canberra, Mr Colovic’s back-up team has been plastering the stobie poles of our fair city with his mug shot.

And it seems he and other wannabees will get away with it, as I understand that a blind eye is been turned by those able to address the transgression.

… and Kate Ellis has her posters plastered through Goodwood.
Leader Street is a prime spot.
I remember during a recent Unley Council election a mayoral candidate put his posters up a week early and was asked to take them down.
So, will the same rules apply to the Federal candidates?
It’s blatant rule breaking and shame on both parties.
