Aggravating Auntie.

Once it was the non-advertising refuge of the television world. Somewhere where you could enjoy programmes without the aggravating avalanche of commercials.

Is it my imagination, or has Channel Two succumbed to the temptation to bombard us  with high-pressure spruiking of the Australian Broadcasting Commission’s supermarket. The answer?. A resounding “yes”, as we are subjected to a relentless, ever-growing repetitive harangue promoting forthcoming programmes.

Irritating?. Unnecessary? Intrusive? Unacceptable?

All of the above, fellers.

We have chosen to grace your station with our presence. We’re on your side.  Do us the courtesy of keeping serial  self-promotion to a  minimum.

    As an avid ABC watcher I hate the ads on the commercial channels.
    Yes, those promotional ads on ABC are annoying, but they do provide useful breaks to go to the toilet, move the car off the street, get another glass of wine, cook popcorn etc. and then head back to the couch 🍷🍩🍷
