Purple tornado warning for Unley Council

October 17, 2016

You’re reading it here first, and it’s NOT just a rumour.

I have it from an impeccable source that Mary K of Ada Street, she as the one-woman whirlwind behind the two largest petitions to hit the shores of Unley Council in recent times, is all set to step up her influence on that self-same Council by standing for a seat at the next round of elections.

An intrepid, vocal and fearless critic of civic affairs, her success at the polls would make for a definite colourful impact on the monthly deliberations. And I’m not just referring to her  purple(?) locks…

Watch this space for developments.

Mary would certainly be a strong character on Council.
Her heart is in the right place, but she does tend to cause a ripple or two.

Mary would liven up the Unley council meetings.
She would really be a colourful influence.
Maybe that’s what Unley needs. Meetings can be a bit dull.
    Go for it Mary!

That would be fantastic for Unley.
Mary is so dedicated and sticks to her guns.
She has a passion for what is right.
    She would shake ’em up.
The gallery would be full watching her in action.

I know Mary and I appreciate her commitment to Unley.
It would be wonderful to see Mary as a councillor.
    She has my support.

Unley Council needs more women as Councillors.
Good to hear that pink Mary will be running.
